Mini-UHF (MUHF) RF Adapters

This section contains RF adapters that have a Mini-UHF (MUHF) connector on one side. Mini-UHF adapters are used to connect equipment or coaxial cables having a Mini-UHF connector to another RF connector type.

The Mini-UHF connector is a smaller version of the traditional UHF connector family and uses a 3/8"-24 coupling thread. It became widely used as radio and communications equipment became smaller and is commonly encountered on mobile radios and other compact RF equipment.

Mini-UHF is a 50 Ohm RF connector and generally provides better high-frequency performance than the larger traditional UHF connector. Despite the similar names, Mini-UHF and standard UHF (PL-259/SO-239) connectors are physically different and will not mate directly.

When selecting a Mini-UHF adapter, verify the connector type and male or female gender required on each side of the adapter.
