Wattmeter RF Connectors & Hardware — This section contains interchangeable RF connector assemblies and related mounting hardware used with Bird Type 43-style wattmeters and compatible equipment.

Many Bird-style through-line wattmeters use replaceable connector assemblies, allowing the RF input and output interfaces to be changed without replacing the wattmeter body. Available interfaces may include Type N, BNC, 7/16 DIN and other RF connector families.

When selecting a replacement connector, verify that the mounting flange, screw pattern and connector assembly dimensions match the wattmeter or line section being serviced. A connector that has the correct RF interface is not necessarily mechanically compatible with every wattmeter housing.

Replacement screws are offered in different head styles, lengths and flange applications. Match the hardware to the connector assembly and wattmeter before installation.

These components should not be confused with ordinary chassis-mount coaxial connectors; wattmeter connector assemblies are designed to mate mechanically with the wattmeter’s replaceable connector interface.
