Connectors - SMA
SMA Connector - SMA stands for SubMiniature Version A and uses a 1/4"-36 thread. The male hex nut is 5/16" and uses a wrench suitable for a #6 hex nut. Having a impedance of 50 Ohms, the SMA connector will go very high in frequency to 27 GHz and beyond. Even though they appear similar to Type F (TV or TV Cable) connectors, they are not interchangable. The SMA connector is available in reverse polarity.
