Connectors - Type F TV
Type F Connectors - The Type F connector is commonly used in many tv, stereo and satellite applications for the antenna connections. Used on coaxial cable, it most commonly is used on RG-59 or RG-6 cable types and is a 75 Ohm connector. The Type F connector looks similar to a SMA connector but the two will not mate as they are different. The Type F connector has a 3/8"-32 UNEF thread. Connector Type F connector designations are F-59, F-6, F-11, F-61, F-71 and F-81.
