Connectors - Reverse Polarity (RP)

Important Information on RP or Reverse Polarity Connectors

Reverse Polarity (RP) Connectors:
Male Connectors will have Female RF pins
Female Connectors will have Male RF pins

Standard Connectors:
Male Connectors will have Male RF pins
Female Connectors will have Female RF pins

Reverse-polarity and standard versions of the same connector family are not electrically interchangeable. In some families the outer connector bodies may appear to mate or may physically engage, but the center-contact arrangement is reversed. This can result in no RF connection or possible contact damage. Always verify both the connector body and center contact before mating standard and RP connectors.
