Yep, you noticed. This is by design based on our own experiences online over the years. I hate it when I go to a website and the whole format has changed and I am lost. For me, it is a matter when I order that I usually know what I want and if it changes places or locations on a website, it just makes it harder. So for that reason, we don't do much major changes here.
Another issue with some websites is one can be searching and maybe even have found what they need, when all of the sudden some pop up ad or notice jumps right in the way of what one is try to read or buy. Some of these can do this enough or multiple times to make one simply toss their hands in the air and move on. I mean do I need multiple ads and reminders to sign up, etc every time I go to a different web page on these websites? NO! Sadly, none of those web designers seem to have really tried to use their own websites. Creative isn't fun sometimes.
From our perspective, simple and less annoying is better, faster and could be said to be more fun!
As a final comment, if you find something annoying with our website design or function, let us know as do appreciate it and if it is something we can change or fix for the better, we will do so.
